Tie the knot
in a rustic setting
The Farnham Pottery is a unique and truly intimate wedding reception venue. The building was a working industrial pottery from 1873 until 1999 and has since been sympathetically restored to be a home for craft potters and artists. The victorian heritage is evident throughout giving a unique character which boasts a maze of hidden treasures, textured walls, and worn floorboards.
The pottery is a cozy space that offers great flexibility. At the front of the building, by the large round window, there is a perfect place for the drinks reception, or wander around to the ‘old street’ for further group photo opportunities.
On entering the main building you step into the open kitchen with a smouldering wood fired oven, before heading through to the main room that will seat up to 50 guests. Look up and you see the atrium gallery which is linked to another large room - the ‘fancy loft’- which has been used as a separate creche, live band and dance space, a lounge to relax or fancy bar – depending on your. requirements.
If you are considering The Pottery for your special day, we would love to work with you to make your party unique, memorable and truly special. Often we are surprised by the creativity of the requests and have always enjoyed tailoring it to make every party a ‘cut above’.
