We are absolutely thrilled to announce our first guest speaker attending the first Clay Social - Sara Howard, part of the Golden Earth Studio. Sara is an award-winning London designer, building new systems in pursuit of circularity and regeneration in the ceramic industry and beyond.

About the Event
To launch the start of our new monthly Clay Social, we invite you all (complimentary) to join us in The Farnham Pottery at 7:00pm with a few drinks and nibbles to listen to Sara's inspiring ceramic journey.
She graduated from Central St. Martins in 2020, studying a BA Honours Degree in Ceramic Design. In her final year, Sara designed an industrial symbiosis around the ceramics industry, whereby waste from one industry replaces the virgin raw materials in ceramic production.
Scaling up with ceramic tableware manufacturer Kevala in Indonesia, Sara now works with hotels and restaurants across the globe. The Circular Ceramics tableware collection, made from 70-100% waste, is the embodiment of symbiotic relationships and material flows that previously didn't exist. Circular Ceramics has been shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2024 with one of 35 sustainability projects that are in the running to win an award from a total of 4,130 entries.
