SUMMER WORKSHOPS
Designed for keen potters who want to develop their making in small and focused groups.
CLAY at The Farnham Pottery are always looking for the opportunity to enrich our communities making and have designed a programme that we hope tickles curiosity and evokes creative exploration. We are exited to announce the 2026 line up of specially selected masterclasses and focused weekend workshops.
The Workshops are designed for a range of experience, the skill levels are indicated on each workshop and are set to ensure all students will benefit from the course. If you have any questions if a masterclass is correct for your skill level please do email us and we can advise you.

Introduction to Wood Carving

Farnham Sculpture (At The Farnham Pottery)
A hands-on experience introducing you to one of the oldest crafts enabling you to create your own relief carving to take home.
This introductory event will provide you with the fundamental skills and knowledge of wood craft and attendees will be provided with a work bench, materials and the loan of a set of wood carving chisels for the day.
The event will also encourage you to develop your own work and practice through becoming a member of the Farnham Sculpture studio, a friendly group of wood and stone carvers based, for over 20 years, in the characterful surroundings of Farnham Pottery in Wrecclesham, providing you with regular access to our facilities.
